PARLIAMENT – Basic Education Minister Siviwe Gwarube has been vocal for the Bela Bill, to be returned to Parliament for revision.

The bill seeks to amend key education laws in South Africa and has sparked controversy,drawing criticism from various quarters.
Education Analyst Dr Corrin Varady says careful scrutiny of its provisions is essential to rectify these issues, however the policy is only as good as its execution.
